About Camilla Denison

As President of Champion Laboratories, Inc. in Albion, Illinois, from 2005-2009, Camilla Denison made significant accomplishments. She decreased inventory by 30 percent and increased profitability by more than 50 percent. She closed a Mexican facility, opened one in China, and increased on-time delivery from 80 to 99.5 percent. As President, Camilla Denison was fully responsible for profit and loss at Champion Laboratories, which produces world-class filters and filtration systems for automotive and other heavy-duty applications. Camilla Denison came to Champion after years of working in progressively more responsible positions for a number of companies. 
 
In 1982, Camilla Denison joined General Motors Company and stayed for 10 years before moving to ITT Automotive in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where she worked her way up from a Senior Operations Analyst to Vice President in just six years. In 1998, Camilla Denison went to Visteon Corporation in Dearborn, Michigan, where she began as a Chief Engineer and Operations Director of the Electronics Division and ended as Business Unit Director. Camilla Denison’s next move took her to Textron Fastening Systems, Inc., in Sterling Heights, Michigan, where she served as President of Automotive Solutions. A two-year stint as the CEO of Alemite in Charlotte, North Carolina, was her last stop before Champion. 

Over the years, Camilla Denison gained valuable experience at numerous companies: She improved profit and loss manufacturing performance, worked with international teams, developed and implanted strategies, closed and opened plants, turned around troubled businesses, directed plant startups, and drove new systems development and their integration. She has broad product knowledge in the fields of hard parts, electronics, and appearance products, in the OEM, distribution, and retail sectors. 
 
Camilla Denison was a member of The Tau Beta Pi Association, Inc., an honor society for engineers, at GMI Engineering & Institute, where she earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering. She also was a Leaders for Manufacturing Fellow at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she was awarded a Master’s degree in Management, and a General Motors Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she got a Master’s in Electrical Engineering. 

Camilla Denison’s hobbies include playing tennis and hockey, water and snow skiing, reading, teaching exercise classes, and dancing. She is an alumna of Leaders for Global Operations and gives to Young Life charity, a Christian organization in which adult volunteers reach out to adolescents in the U.S. and 70 countries worldwide.
